On July 10th, 2024, officers responded to a Chase Bank following reports from employees of a possible fraud in progress.
We're taking a closer look at a financial crimes investigation that happened on September 26, 2023 in Florida after officers responded to a call from a pawn shop regarding a woman attempting to cash a fraudulent check for $23,892. When they arrived, the woman told them that the check was from the US Treasury for "lost wages."
